Parle Company was established before the independence of India in 1929, the product journey started too much earlier.

Legacy

In 1929, Mohanlal Dayal started confectionery at Vile Parle, Mumbai. The Parle company name is also based on the Vile Parle location, they slightly modified it. The Parle house started with 12 workers and their first manufactured product was orange candy.

Parle Products

 Parle has some popular brands, these are Parle-G (1938), Monaco (1942-1945), Cheeseling(1956), Krack- Jack(1974), Hide & Seek(1996), 20-20, Milk Shakti, Fab!, Top, Burbon, Magic, Bakesmith, Happy Happy, Parle Gold Star, Nutricrunch.

Parle has 10 company-owned facilities and 125 contract-based manufacturing units. It's captured the major market shares in the U.S.A, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.

World's Love for Parle

Parle has a manufacturing unit in 7 countries outside of India, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and Ethiopia. In 2018, Parle also added a new manufacturing unit in Mexico.

Parle baby girl in the picture is just an illustration, which was made by Everest Creative's artist Maganlal Saiya in the picture, all the rumors started in the fall 1990s

The Parle products have received globally recognized certificated ( FSSC:22000, ISO:22000, and Halal Certification ) and they have a membership of some international associations like BCMA ( USA ), etc.

Since Parle products entered the food industry competition of Monde Selection ( Annual Non- competitive award open to food, drink, and cosmetics) in 1971.
